WYRE Forest Phoenix Under-11s hit form as they thrashed Withymore Colts 6-1.

Olivia Wood and Holly Tew both bagged hat-tricks.

It was a great, solid performance from the girls, who scored four goals in an impressive first half.

Ellie Symons, Mollie Moore, and new signing Phoebe Reed were also lively and helped to provide the cutting edge for the goal glut.

Wood was named player of the match for a hard working and clinical display.

The Under-10s Raiders Girls side got the better of St John’s Pumas to make cup progress.

Wyre Forest’s Under-18s suffered one of most disappointing results of the season when they lost 6-1 to Wyrley Pumas.

Phoenix may have lost most of their games this season but had produced battling displays against the best sides.

But against a side who had previously only scored five goals in nine matches, they continued to struggle.

Despite that, goalkeeper Megan Potter was named player of the match after pulling off a string of fine saves.

Phoenix are always looking for new players for their U-10s, U-11s, U-13s, U-14s, U-15s and U-18s teams as well as two open-age sides.
