WOLVERLEY’S Eclipse Martial Arts Club have enjoyed success at two important tournaments over the last few weeks.

The club came away with six golds at the WKU/KWON English Championships in Solihull.

More than 900 competitors competed at North Solihull Sports Centre but it was the Wyre Forest club who shone through.

There were golds for Emma Jayne Morris in the points fighting and continuous sections.

In the Individual categories, Chloe Elrick tasted success in the continuous, while there were also golds for Callum Hawkins (points fighting), Daniel Hawkins (continuous gold) and Dawn White (points fighting).

Cieran Carroll, Jacob Carroll, Chloe Holloway all achieved podium finishes as well.

Prevously, Eclipse had sent students to take part in the WUMA English Open in November.

Ellis Gould and Hawkins won first place in the points fighting.

In the continuous fighting, there were first places for Elrick, Hawkins, Carroll, Morris, Daniel Hawkins and White.

All the students train at Wolverley Memorial three nights a week and anyone who wants more information can go to www.eclipsemartialarts.co.uk
