LADIES FOOTBALL: Wyre Forest Phoenix booked their place in the West Midlands Regional Women’s League final with a 4-2 win over Lye Town.
Goals for Kirsty Roberts bagged all four goals as Forest took another step towards silverware.
They also bounced back from their County Cup defeat at the hands of Droitwich Spa last week, The final is scheduled for May 24 at Stone Dominoes FC in Yarnfield (1pm kick-off) and anyone who is interested in travelling by coach to watch the game can book a place by calling Paul Lacey on 07940 484332.
Meanwhile, the Under-13s played a double-header against Warndon Village Wildcats.
Phoenix lost both games 2-0, while keeper Bethany Savage was named player of the match after producing a host of stunning saves.
