STOURPORT firsts continued their unbeaten start in Worcestershire League Division Two with a seven-wicket win over Feckenham.

Having won the toss, skipper Craig Siwicki had no hesitation in asking Feckenham to bat first on a damp track.

On electing to bowl, openers Lee Waldron and Gavin Bryan (1-21) ripped through the Feckenham top order, taking the first three wickets on a damp track without score.

Waldron finished with the outstanding figures of 6-31 from 17 overs to help dismiss Feckenham for 107.

A score of 31 from Bevan Neil gave Stourport a brisk start to their reply before Kevin Renecke (29 not out) and Chris Parry (15 not out) saw Stourport to victory in the 20th over.

This Saturday Stourport entertain Malvern (1pm start).

The seconds edged out Rushwick by one wicket.

Tight bowling restricted Rushwick to 161-7, withTom Neath the pick of the attack with 3-51. In reply, David Pittaway (36) and Sam Foley (39) helped Stourport pass the finishing post in the 43rd over.

Stourport thirds enjoyed a comfortable seven wicket win against Old Elizabethans.
