COOKLEY A pulled off a surprise 1301-126 victory over Kidderminster and Districr Midweek League Division One leaders St John's A.

Title challenging Franche also suffered on the Marsh playing fields with Kinver’s B team victorious by 15 chalks.

St John's B used their home green to their advantage beating Oldington C by 24 shots in Division Twp making them Division leaders, meanwhile Stourport C continue their winning form with a win at home against Royal Mail.

In Division Three, Cookley B, who hold pole position, had a tough game at title rivals Oldington before eventually securing a six shot victory.

Wolverley C had an easier time at home beating Kinver A by 41 shots.

In Division Four, Cookley D demonstrated their form in week nine with an away win against the Nomads. It was a very exciting match at Cookley with the C team suffering at the hands of St Ambrose RO A the home side lost by one shot.

Oldington D punished the Carolians on the Rugby Ground green with a 37 shot triumph.

Franche A’s win at Wolverley has now placed them at the top of Division One in the Thursday Afternoon Midweek League.

Kinver A were also successful at Bewdley beating the home side by 11 chalks, the Kinver B side had a successful day on their home green with a win against Bewdley B.

In Division Two, St John'sOB B defeated Carolians, whileFranche B got the better of leadership contenders Cookley B by five shots.
