AN empathic win over bottom-side Malvern saw Cookley move back into second in the 1st XI go back to second in Worcestershire League Division Two.
Danny Soley was back to his best with a 4-22 spell, supported by super veteran Ian Roberts 3- 27 as Malvern were dismissed for 119.
In a rain-delayed reply, Cookley knocked off the required 96 runs with ease, Jaimen Rudd continuing his fine season with 57 not out.
The seconds’ five-game winning run came to an end at high flying Bromyard. Stuey Nicholls (55) and Callum Parker (46) batted well.
