KIDDERMINSTER Carolians Colts romped to a 46-6 win over Birmingham Solihull.

KCs powered into a 26-0 lead following an impressive first-half display.

David Kane opened the scoring with a try, which Alex Sparks converted. Then Ryan Hughes picked up from a scrum and ran through for the second.

After a quiet period, Hayden Edwards fed Jack Samways for a third score.

Kidderminster sealed their dominance just before the break when Will Rowlingson ran 60 metres to score under the posts Sparks converted.

Birmingham hit back with two penalties but Carolians remained in control.

Good work by Andrew Morgan allowed Sam Faulkner to walk under the posts.

Their next try came from a Freddie Morgan kick, which allowed Arthur Morgan to sprint up the wing and score.

Elliot Murphy bagged another try, and with the last play of the game, Jack Samways found a gap in the Birmingham defence to tee up Tom Kerrigan for a try.

The senior side are in Midlands Division Two West (North) action at Harborne on Saturday (2.15pm ko).
