GIRLS FOOTBALL: Cookley Girls FC Under-15s returned to action last weekend achieving a great result at home against undefeated Premier League leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Cookley pressed the game from the off and were rewarded with a long-range effort from Jess Brett within the first ten minutes.
Wolves made it 1-1 against the run of play with a looping effort that beat the out stretched ‘keeper.
Amy Pyne scored after Wanderers had made it 2-1.
Once again the Black Country side took the lead, but Evie Billingsley made it 3-3 with the last kick of the game.
