THERE were mixed fortunes for Kidderminster Cricket Club juniors playing Droitwich with a win for the under-13s but a defeat for the u10s in a cup match.

Droitwich u13s were restricted to 64 runs in their 20 overs leaving KCC to chase the total down in 14 overs, led by Matt Hatfield with 37 runs, Rhodri Morson 13, and JJ Williams 12 not out.

The U10s lost their nine-a-side cup match to Droitwich being bowled out for 57, which the opposition’s openers chased down in eight overs.

However, they themselves with a pairs victory against Avoncroft, Liam Jones top scoring with 26.

The U12s beat Stourport by 19 runs scoring 117-6 to 98-3. An opening partnership of 53 with Matt Boucher run out 13 and Cameron Billings retired on 30 set the team up.

On Tuesday, the U15s were beaten by Barnt Green who scored 146-4 before bowling KCC out for 109 on the last ball. U13 player Rhodri Morson top scored for Kidderminster with 24.
