KIDDERMINSTER Harriers have added two more attractive friendly fixtures to their pre-season programme.

Harriers will entertain newly crowned Championship side Burton Albion at Aggborough on Tuesday, July 19.

They've also added in a short trip to Solihull Moors, who have replaced Harriers in top flight National League football next season.

The trip to Solihull will be especially intriguing as the Damson Parkway based side are under the guidance of two former Harriers managers in the shape of boss Marcus Bignot and his assistant Gary Whild.

Harriers supporters can also expect to see a good sprinkling of former Aggborough favourites on display at Solihull with Danny Lewis, Jack Byrne and Nathan Vaughan expected to be amongst their opponents line-up.

Harriers kick-off their pre-season programme with a trip to Southern League Premier side Stratford Town on Saturday, July 9.

They then host West Bromwich Albion at Aggborough on Saturday, July 16 before heading to last season's nemesis Stourbridge on Monday, July 18 for a Worcestershire Senior Cup clash.

Harriers followers need no reminding that Stourbridge dumped them out of two cup competitions last season.

Following the game with Burton Albion on July 19, Harriers then complete a hectic week with a visit to Stourport Swifts on Thursday, July 21.

The pre-season schedule continues with a visit from FA Vase runners-up Hereford on Tuesday, July 26 and then there's a visit to Halesowen Town on Thursday, July 28 before the game with Solihull on July 30.

Harriers complete their plans with an attractive home game against a strong Birmingham City side on Tuesday, August 2 before their National Naorth campaign commences.
