GOLF: A full field of 196 entered the Men’s Open AM AM tournament at Kidderminster Golf Club.
The quartet of Simon Thompson, Andrew Thompson, Jonathan Thompson and Stephen Brooks won with 89 points.
The men’s scratch team defeated previously unbeaten Moor Hall Sunday 7.5-0.5.
Kidderminster have won all their home games this year and probably need one win from two remaining away fixtures to gain promotion from Division Five.
Meanwhile, the B Team played at home against Enville last Thursday and were triumphant 4.5-1.5.

Ladies five clubs and putter stableford: 1 Sharon Cartwright 29 points; 2 Jane Abraham 28; 3 Shirley Caswell 27.
l Four Bewdley golfers took on a marathon golf challenge and raised £3,000 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, Alzheimer’s Society and Help for Heroes.
Wharton Park Golf Club captain Steve Owen teed up the challenge last Wednesday with the help of fellow members Rich Knowles, Wayne Boden and Jim Sylvester.
The quartet unleashed their first drives at 5am and sank the final putts 13 hours later having played 108 holes.
