STOURPORT Boat Club's junior WJ13 quad continue to sweep all before them this season.

They struck gold again at the prestigious Peterborough Junior Championship which involved some of the UK's best young rowers.

The Stourport crew of Annabelle Murphy, Sophie DiMambro, Christina Butcher and Harriet Murphy and coxed by Julia Miller left all their rivals for dead during the qualifying rounds.

Stourport stormed into the final where they faced leading rowing schools of two Headington crews plus Kings Ely.

Racing over the four lane 1,000 metre course, Stourport had the quickest start and by the 500 metre mark were in an unassailable position, they recorded a winning time of 4 minutes15.6 secs to maintain their unbeaten record at all regatta's this season.

Not to be outdone, Molly Clarke picked up a silver medal in the single sculling event against some of the toughest opposition she has faced all season.
