CRICKET: Stourport maintained their unbeaten run in Worcestershire League Division One with a 42-run win over Belbroughton last week.
Asked to bat first, the Wyre Forest outfit scored 223-9 from their 50 overs, with runs from Matt Delo (37), Mike Pratt (36) and Steve Yarsley (30 not out).
Stourport’s fielding display resulted in them dismissing Belbroughton for 182.
There were two wickets a piece for Matt Delo (2-42), Ryan Derrick (2-50), Andy Siwicki (2-40) and 16-year-old debutant Charlie Foley (2-18).
Stourport sit third in the table and are at home to Cookley on Saturday (1pm start).
There were also wins for Stourport seconds, thirds and fourths. David Pittaway scored 84 for the seconds, while Bevan Neill and Alex Lavery bagged 40 runs each.
Pete Harrison (97) was in good form for the fourths.
