PARALYPIC star Sascha Kindred OBE was the star guest at Wyre Forest Swimming Club's first two-day open meet.
The event took place at Wolverhampton Baths on December 3 and 4 and gave entrants the chance to swim 50m, 100m and 200m in all strokes as well as the 100m and 200m IM.
The gold medalist is one of Britain's most successful paralympians, having competed in six games after making his debut in the 1996 Atlanta Paralympics.
Successful swimmers at the Wyre Forest event included Bradley Baddams who collected the overall top boy trophy, after winning ten gold, two silver and two Bronze medals.
Rachel Harrison from Chase Swimming Club was top girl and to Bilston Swimming Club was declared best visiting club.
Other Wyre Forest medal winners were: Nathaniel Crowther, Imogen Cook, Robert Darbyshire, Adam Newey, William Guest, Jack O’Connell, Lillie Grover, Jasmin Yates, Matilda Calder, Rosie Lane, Emma Elwell, Eddie Cox, Nathan Hawkins, Abbie Rowley, Alexandra Hayes, Lucy Nicholls, Erin Freer, Oliver Dobbins, Dylan Smith, Helena Shackleton, Archie Darby-Duffield, Holly Workman and Mia Walton.
