The Badgers line up was:Luke Davidson (gk), Trey Manning, Oliver Cook, Hattie Cook, Amelia Lane, Leo Delves, Lucy McLoughlin,Oscar Bridgewater, Jasmine Wood, Lily Hutton, Alex Powell, James Larkin, Malachy Larkin, Maddie Shaw, and Darcy Gray.

In an interclub friendly at The Kingsway, Stourport ladies fourth XI just edged a 1-0 victory over a side containing a mixture of the fourth and fifth XI player's.

The match was a finely balanced affair with the action swinging from end to end, as both sides eased themselves back into fitness after the Christmas break.

The 4th's/5th's playing in the blue and gold of their home strip, created a number of fine chances throughout both halves, where all was needed was the slight touch to convert the chance into a goal.

The fourth's, playing in white, created moments to savour as well, in the first half, a well placed cross from the right, just failed to connect with the stick of Sarah Talyor-Robinson, who found herself un marked in the opposition D.

The second half saw the same free flowing hockey from both sides. Lousie Marshall, returning from the bench, narrowly had a shot saved on the line.

The fourth's attacked on the break and Roise Connolly scored the decisive goal. The ball taken down the right of the pitch, shot across the D, and found Connolly loosely marked on the far post. With time to gather and shoot, before the defender could make a challenge, the ball hit the backboard, for the only time in the match. Both sides continued to push forward, the 4th/5th's searching a way back into the match and the fourth's looking to extend their lead, in what for much of the time was well-balanced match.

Stourport Men's fourth XI came out on top in their clash with visitors Harborne fifths last weekend. Goals from Rob Lashford, Tristan Hubbard and Ben Corcoran being the difference between the two sides.
