KIDDERMINSTER and Stourport Athletic Club had a big night at their annual presentation event which was attended by around 100 young athletes and their parents.
Awards were presented for junior sports hall competition, the 2016 track and field season, the winter cross country leagues and to the senior road running section.
Jack Lambert won both the Richard Warder trophy for helping to set up and run athletic competitions, he also won Junior Field Athlete of the year.
He is already Wyre Forest Junior Athlete of the Year having only been beaten once in the hammer competition in the 2016 season.
He ended the year as number one in the country with a throw of 62.71 metres, nearly two metres further than his closest competitor.
The club meets at Stourport Sports Club, Kingsway, between 6pm and 7.30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
