WYRE Forest CRC riders have had a busy schedule of circuit races recently.

In the fourth running of the Shrewsbury Grand Prix, a race around the town centre streets, Erin Boddice was a comfortable winner of the under-16 girls race.

At the Lichfield CCC spring meeting at Curborough Max Hinds finished in third place with Felix Forrester 14th in the under-10 boys race while Kinga Ingram and Aimee Lane took second and fourth places respectively in the under-14 girls category and Michael Boddice placed sixth in the 4th cat men's race.

At the Lichfield No Frills Friday meeting Matt Boazman gained valuable points with a hard ride into fifth place in the 4th cat race while two days later at the Mid Shropshire circuit races he placed tenth with Boddice twelfth.

In the ladies' race Leah Ball bounced back to fitness with first place while Vicki Boddice finished fifth.

Erin Boddice finished fourth in the under-16 girls while Charlie Boddice and Louis Smith were locked together again finishing tenth and eleventh in the under-14 boys race.

Stewart Ball and Olly Bill placed fifteenth and sixteenth in the 3rd cat men's race.

In the Ludlow Brewery RT promoted midweek circuit races at the Stourport Sports Club Susannah O'Shaughnessy gained another point towards her 3rd cat licence with third place in the ladies combined categories race while Jono Golding took tenth place in the 2nd/3rd/4th cat race with Andrew Draper placing seventh in the 4th cat race.

In the latest midweek circuit races promoted by Stourbridge CC James Banks, who earlier in the season gained his 3rd category licence, was beaten into second place in a sprint finish in the combined 2nd/3rd/4th cat race, but gained valuable points towards a 2nd cat licence.

In the 4th cat race Boddice and Boazman also gained points towards their 3rd cat licence with sixth and ninth place finishes respectively while O'Shaughnessy again finished third behind two 3rd cat riders in the ladies combined categories race to gain another point towards her 3rd cat licence.
