MORE than 600 crews will compete in 140 events along the River Severn in the annual two-day Stourport Boat Club Regatta and Sprint.
Stourport will host the region's biggest rowing event on Saturday (August 12) and Sunday (August 13).
Single and double sculls, quads, fours and eights will battle it out along the 1,000 metre river course - with competitors heading to the town from all over the UK.
Pete Lashford, club president of Stourport Boat Club, said: "Stourport has a big reputation for hosting one of the leading UK Regattas, and the level of competition will be at the highest throughout the weekend."
Races start at 8.30am on both Saturday and Sunday, finishing in the late afternoon.
The event is family and dog friendly, with free entry for spectators. Food and drink is available at the event all weekend.
Stourport's first Regatta was held in 1876.
