Poyner braves cold to continue good form

KIDDERMINSTER and Stourport AC members braved cold and windy conditions to take part in Worcester AC’s spring warm-up last Thursday.
Despite the weather there were some excellent performances from the 17-strong KSAC contingent.
Star of the evening was Jack Poyner who continued his fine form in the long jump, leaping 6.60 metres and ran an excellent 100 metres in 12 seconds.
Ellie Ravenscroft jumped a personal best in the high jump clearing 1.45m, while Hannah Johnson ran a fine 800m in 2.56.2.
Jessica Murdoch ran 3.16.2 in her first attempt at the 800m.
Sam Lloyd Perks won the under-17s men 800m, an event he does not usually run, in 2.15.7 and Holly Phillips won the under-15s girls 200m in 30.5.
Results — U13s girls: Hannah Johnson — high jump 1.15m (2), 200m 33.5 (2), 800m 2.56.5; Jessica Sturridge — 200m 35.4; Georgina Knott — 100m 15.6 (1), high jump 1.10m (3).
U15s girls: Holly Phillips — 200m 30.5 (1), 100m 15; Jess Murdoch — 100m 15.6, 800m 3.16.2; Eleanor Johnson — 100m 15.6, 200m 34.1; Eleanor Ravenscroft - 100m 14.1 (1), high jump 1.45m.
U20s women: Kerry Djubek — 100m 15.4, 200m 30.7.
Senior Women: Chantelle Reah — 100m 15.4, 200m 30.9.
Veteran Women: Kate Murdoch - 100m 15.2, 200m 30.4.
U15s boys: Archie Roberts — 800m 227.4.
U17s men: Corwin Barnet — long jump 5.59m, 100m 12.3, 200m 24.7; Sam Lloyd Perks — 800m 2.15.7, 2,000m 6.18.3; Alex Sturridge — long jump 5.08m, 200m 27.1, 400m 58.6; Montel Rebourne Youl: 100m 12.6.
U20s men: Jack Poyner — long jump 6.60m (1), 100m 12 (2). Daniel Ravenscroft— 400m 55 (2).
