Phillips is edged out

JACQUI Phillips narrowly missed out on a superb victory at the London Sprint Triathlon.

The TRiKS member finished second, five seconds behind the winner, in a time of one hour, 15 minutes 41 seconds.

More than 1,000 competitors entered.

Fellow TRiKS member Steve Moore did well to finish 18th in his age group (1.15.41). Rob Reynolds completed the standard event in a time of 2.42.55.
