GIFTED Wyre Forest Club starlet Eleanor Bainbridge won the trophy for best female swimmer at the Gloucester City open meet.
Bainbridge, who swims in the nine-year-old category, won four golds, two silvers and a bronze to stand out on a fine tournament for the club.
She powered to victory in the 200-metre freestyle, 200m backstroke, 200m individual medley and 50m backstroke, finished runner-up in the 200m breaststroke and 50m freestyle as well as coming third in the 50m butterfly.
Overall, Wyre Forest were in top form, winning 17 gold medals in Gloucester.
Jonathan MacMahon, 13, won the 200m backstroke, 200m individual medley and 100m butterfly and took silver in 100m backstroke as well as bronzes in 50m and 200m breaststroke races.
Alice Hayden Jones, 12, won the 200m breaststroke and silver in 100m breaststroke, while Jack Rowley took silver in 100m backstroke and bronze in 200m backstroke.
Abbie Rowley also gained three county qualifying times.
Meanwhile, 14 Wyre Forest swimmers took part in the Worcestershire County Development Meet at the weekend.
Amber Wright, 9, won silvers in 50m backstroke and 50m freestyle and bronzes in 100m individual medley and 50m breaststroke, while Imogen Rhodes, 9, gained bronze in the 50m freestyle.
Eleven-year-old Oliver Jones clinched silver in the 50m freestyle gold in the 50m breaststroke.
There was golden success for Matt Newey in the 100m individual medley as well as silver in the 50m breaststroke and 50m butterfly and bronze in the 50m backstroke.
Isabel Bowers,13, struck gold in the 50m backstroke and bronze in the 50m individual medley, while Natasha Walker,13, won the 50m butterfly and 50m freestyle and finished second in the 50m backstroke and 50m breaststroke.
Emma Elwell, 13, also sealed third in the 50m freestyle.
Three swimmers got through to the knock-out skins round with, Newey claiming the runner-up position, Elwell fourth and Bowers finishing sixth.
Eden Fallon-Davies, Charlotte Holford, Emily Seymour Perry, Amy Osbourne, Emma Osbourne, Emily Holford and Alex Rosser-barne also took part.
Parents of Wyre Forest swimmers Katy Fallon, Amanda Holford, Julie and Richard Rhodes and Lisa Rosser passed their timekeepers course at Wolverhampton on Sunday.
