Scott is without question one of the most talented and successful sportsmen to come out of the Wyre Forest, this is highlighted by his achievements in Mountain Biking from the past year.

Scott competes in the Four-cross (4X) version of the sport in which this year he was crowned Great British champion, came 2nd overall at the European 4X Mountain Bike Series and has represented Great Britain across Europe including competing in the World Championships.

That all being said, due to an injury at the start of the year Scott’s performance was limited this year as he was odds on favourite to be World Champion. However despite his struggles he has remained a positive and encouraging racer to on looking racers and fellow competitors.

He is “Mr 4X” doing lots of work behind the scenes: including arranging film crews to races, writing race reports. Scott pushes the boundaries of the sport so all those involved can benefit.

He is always on hand to help up-and-coming riders. No question is too silly to ask Scott, he is very approachable to all level of rider. He pushes the development of the sport of 4X to national and global cycling bodies.

Scott puts in 100 per cent to his sport working hard full-time so that people of all ages and backgrounds can partake. At his heart he wants to see people having fun on their bikes. This time is immeasurable and has gone on for decades.
