Coleshill 3 Stourport Swifts 3 A LATE goal from Jamie Willets helped Swifts salvage a point after they had seen a two-goal half-time lead wiped out.

Rod Brown’s side looked comfortable in the opening half against a Coleshill side intent on breaking quickly and play neat passing football.

It was the visitors who made the first telling contribution though in the 15th minute. New signing from Worcester City Jamie Lemon pounced on a long ball and got between keeper Paul Hathaway and defender Dominic Reece and tucked the ball home.

The lead was then doubled on the half=hour when Jamie Hyde provided a cross from the left and Chris Morrison headed in.

But the game turned in two second-half minutes. Two minutes after the restart Coleshill were back in the game when Chris Lloyd found Declan Kirby on the edge of the box and he drilled a shot past Hayden Whitcombe.

A minute later Whitcombe was picking the ball out of the net, this time Jamie Willets harshly adjudged to have handled Oliver Casey’s cross and Dean Rathbone thumping a low spot-kick past the keeper.

In the 65th minute Rathbone thumped a low shot through a crowded goalmouth from 20 yards to put the hosts in front for the first time.

But substitute Calvin Dinsley came on for Jamie Blake and made a telling impact five minutes from time when his cross landed on the bar and Willets pounced to fired in the equaliser.
