STOURPORT Swifts have announced new Dudley Town coach Mark Phillips as the club's new manager.

Phillips, who had been working with the Black Country side's under-21s, will replace Rod Brown as the new boss.

He is part of a new group of former Swifts players and local business who have joined the club to support chairman Chris Reynolds.

Pip Hanson, Graham Glenister, Ian Johnson and Graham Haighway have all came on board to help form a new management committee.

Phillips was manager as Town's under-21s clinched the Birmingham County FA Saturday Junior Cup with a 3-2 win over FA Premier.
