Men v boys.

The scrum under the posts late in the second half when Exeter pushed Worcester off their own ball summed the game up for me.

Worcester Faithful‏( @WorcsFaithful).

At least we got our free stress balls at half time. I'll be bringing mine along for the rest of the season if tonight is anything to go by.

Brett Coupland‏ (@coupie141).

What an awful night, stop kicking and start playing. Very infuriated indeed. Another 2k wasted by the looks of things.

Martin Foxall‏ (@HLPMartin).

Not seeing a win coming from anywhere after that tonight. Only positive our defence got a hell of a workout.

FlipFlop.

Three games. 100 points conceded. Don't want to extrapolate that over the remaining Prem games.

Chiefs are good but they coughed up a few chances that would have made the score line worse.

The defence and tactical kicking coach seems to have not plugged the defensive gaps or found the space with kicking strategy so far.

Hallowed Warrior.

Exeter showed that they are a great team tonight without having to get out of second gear. Worcester battled but made far too many errors to get a toehold in the game.

Alo and Bower did OK in the scrum and Lewis impressed at the breakdown. The five-day turnaround showed as Te'o and Willison were very quiet (carrying knocks).

It was a very harsh lesson - but ultimately we don't look good enough at the minute to compete.

This may change when we come up against our 'mini league' of Irish, Sale etc but wouldn't say I am confident.

Underdog.

No shame in being outclassed, which we were. People seem to think pressure appears on us from nowhere. It doesn't. It was applied by an excellent, league winning side.

I said a week ago these games should be viewed as opportunities to get really sharp against top sides and then use that sharpness against mid and lower table sides. I'm going to reserve judgement until then.

Offa.

On a positive note, our scrum generally held up and we defended the rolling maul well. Exeter are a class side, and that was always going to be a tough game, as will our game against Sarries.
