IN-FORM wing Josh Adams has been left out of Wales’ squad to face Ireland at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday (2.15pm).

But the 22-year-old ace will be released by Wales at the end of training today and now looks set to play in Worcester Warriors' bottom-of-the-table clash with London Irish at the Madejski Stadium on Sunday (1pm).

Adams who scored his 14th try of the season in Warriors' 25-15 win over Gloucester in the Aviva Premiership last weekend had started in Wales’ opening two games of the Six Nations.

He made his debut in their 34-7 win over Scotland before being in the side that lost 12-6 to England.

But the Premiership’s top try-scorer has missed out as head coach Warren Gatland has handed a starting place to the more experienced Liam Williams with George North and Gareth Anscombe providing cover on the bench.

Full-back Leigh Halfpenny has also returned to the team to join Williams and Steff Evans in the back three.

Fly-half Dan Biggar has recovered from a shoulder injury to make his 61st appearance for his country and will line up alongside Gareth Davies at half-back.

Wales have named an unchanged pack for the trip to Dublin.

The all-Scarlets front-row of Rob Evans, Ken Owens and Samson Lee feature for a third consecutive game.

Cory Hill partners captain Alun Wyn Jones in the second-row with Aaron Shingler, Josh Navidi and Ross Moriarty comprising the back-row.

Gatland said: “It is great to be able to bring so much experience back into the starting XV and into the backline.

"It is the first week we have had everyone in the 'green' in terms of availability which is a nice luxury to have and a positive ahead of what is a very important test match against a very good Ireland side.

"We have been pleased with the depth we have developed in the back-three and pleased with how those players have gone but having the experience of Dan, Liam and Leigh coming back in is hugely important.

"We have been pleased with how the forward pack has been going and how they have worked as a unit but as always there is pressure for them to perform too."
