Ben Smith made the most of being dropped on eight as he topped scored for the Royals in their decent knock at Taunton with more than a 100 coming off the final 10 overs.

The veteran batsman was one of three solid contributions from the Worcestershire middle order as they look to make it four wins in a row.

However, they will have to look at their running between the wickets after two pointless run outs.

Somerset have won the toss and have opted to field.
