WORCESTERSHIRE will finally know their semi-final opponents in the Royal London One-Day Cup this evening.

Rapids made sure of their place in the last four four weeks ago today after their win over Derbyshire Falcons at the 3aaa County Ground.

The victory ensured they topped the North Group and sealed a home semi-final which will take place on Saturday (11am).

But skipper Joe Leach and the squad have had to wait until today to see who they will be playing at a packed New Road.

North Group runners-up Yorkshire Vikings will entertain Surrey, who finished third in the South Group, at Headingley under lights in the 50-over competition.

Then the winners of the play-off will face Rapids who will be in semi-final action for the first time in 13 years.

Worcestershire have already beaten Vikings at home in the group stages this season.

But if Surrey go through it will be the first time they have played at New Road since Worcestershire defeated them in 2014 to seal promotion to Division One of the Championship.

That fixture will be forever known as Jack Shantry's match after he scored a century batting at number nine and took 10 wickets.

But Leach also made a less heralded but important contribution with two half-centuries.

Members and supporters have been snapping up tickets for the semi-final since they went on sale last month.

But they are still available to purchase and the County are asking people to buy now if they are interested to avoid disappointment.

Members can purchase tickets for £25 and non-members for £30 with juniors or junior members able to buy tickets for £10.

A hospitality package for the McMinn Marquee costs £60 and The View top floor VIP package is available for £90.
