MATT Mason suffered more injury woe today as he broke down with a groin strain at Kidderminster.
The Australian-born seamer was making his comeback from shoulder surgery after 10 months out, but four balls into his fourth over of the Loughborough UCCE second innings he pulled up.
Having bowled well yesterday, the 34-year-old was hoping to have another good day with the ball, but following a niggling side strain in pre-season Mason has once again been hit by injury.
