WORCESTER Wolves are on the look-out for four larger-than-life characters who can step into the paws of their popular club mascot.

Wolfie, the Wolves mascot, entertains fans at all home matches at the University of Worcester Arena.

Would-be Wolfies must record and submit a one-minute YouTube video of themselves by Thursday, August 6.

Auditions for the role will be during the week starting August 24 and then fans will have a chance to vote for their favourite Wolfies.

Clare Goodman, marketing and administration officer for Wolves, said: “The basketball experience we offer appeals to a wide audience.

“As well as fast-moving, high-quality professional sport, the entertainment on game night includes light shows, music, cheerleaders and a lot of crowd participation with Wolfie the Wolves mascot leading the way.”

The new Wolfies will be expected to dance on and off the court, entertain the children in the crowd and learn new moves to perform with the cheerleading squad.

Video clips must be e-mailed to iwanttobewolfie@worc.ac.uk.
