DAVID RICHARD SERRELL Passed away peacefully on 13th March 2019 aged 83 years. A former teacher at Harry Cheshire High School and Stourport High School. David was a much loved husband of 62 years to Margaret and will be dearly missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, nephews and nieces. The service to celebrate David's life will be held at Wyre Forest Crematorium on 4th April at 12:30pm David's express wish is to celebrate his life as a colourful and joyous occasion. Family flowers only, donations if desired will go to 'Singing for the Brain' c/o Edwin Harris and Sons Ltd, 1 Crane Street, Kidderminster, DY11 6XT. Tel. 01562 822625

Sign in to add a tributeLife but the ones I do have all involved Mr Serrell. From working on class projects in metal work to building water rockets for the BP challenges . Testing the water rocket that went up over our head and though the window of the canteen kitchens . A classic David serrel project. Every lesson was run and Mr serrell was always someone who made you day fun . He also used to take us on fishing trips to Stackpool in Kidderminster to fishing the England school boy champaionships in Eversham . At 52 I am now a little older that you must have been when you where teaching us.how time flys God bless you Sir you will always be a memory in my life and thank you for the values you taught me in my early years . Rest in peace Sir .
