The Property

This detached bungalow was built some 50 years ago and benefits UPVC double glazed windows and a UPVC conservatory has been added at the rear. The west facing rear garden is a pleasant feature. The property has been in the same ownership for the last 16 years and, while habitable, would now benefit from some updating. The study behind the garage could double as a third bedroom if required.

The Accommodation

The front door leads into a porch with coats cupboard. A glazed door continues into the hall with original wood flooring. Off the hall is a cupboard with the consumer unit which was replaced in 2014 . An access hatch with ladder gives access to the loft which has power, light and a telephone point. There are two double bedrooms at the front, both with built-in wardrobes, and the shower room is fully tiled. The sitting room has a chimney so could accommodate a log burning stove, while a door at the rear leads into the garden. The kitchen has a breakfast bar and a linen cupboard. There is access to the garage and also the conservatory, which has access to the garden and also the study at the rear of the garage.

Lawned front garden with shrubs and driveway parking in front of the garage for two cars. Gated access to the left hand side leads past the bunded oil tank to a patio area adjoining the conservatory. The rear garden has a lawn and well stocked borders with an arch leading to a former vegetable garden with shed and greenhouse.

Mains water, electricity and drainage are connected. The oil fired combination boiler is in the garage. Council Tax Band D - £1,824.76 payable for 2020/21. EPC rating Band E - 43. The full report is available online or paper copy on request.
