It is proposed to convert the buildings on the southern flank of the complex into a single dwelling and demolish the remainder along the eastern flank, but adding to the footprint of the barn conversion and the construction of a new garage retaining the form of the original enclosed farm yard. Again, the intention of the design is to be sympathetic to the existing structures and utilise their form as much as possible. Where the original two storey barn is to be demolished, the proposed detached double garage is shown in the style of the barn, and to match the garage approved for the adjacent house. The barn will use the existing gateway from the courtyard.
