A RANGE of workshops will be taking place at the Bishops Wood centre near Stourport in September.

The workshops hope to embrace traditional skills such as greenwood woodworking, foraging, camp fire cooking, basket making and spoon, bowl and bow-making.

The Bishops Wood site is also a perfect setting for digital photography courses and visitors can learn how to look at depth of field, composition and how to download and edit.

Survival experts can attend the Bush Craft taster sessions, delivered by a qualified Level Four Bush Craft Instructor.

Bishops Wood Centre Co-ordinator Gill Frankling said: "Bishops Wood is the perfect place to come and try our workshops to learn traditional woodland skills, crafts and take up a new hobby.

"It's always rewarding to see people take up a new skill and watch them develop it."
