FOLLOWING the great success of Pack Up Your Troubles fundraising concert for Save The Children last month, organisers are hoping people are equally as generous in a second helping.
After the previous music show raised almost £2,000, The Save the Children Fund are treating fans of baroque music to a concert at St. Anne’s Church, Bewdley, on Saturday (March 7).
The programme, provided by the celebrated Elgar Chorale from Worcester, will include period instruments, including a baroque organ, and will be the chorale’s first concert under their new conductor, Piers Maxim, after the retirement of Dr Donald Hunt.
Tickets cost £10 and include interval refreshments. They can be booked by contacting Heather Fairs on 01299 402475, Judy Jones on 01299 405476, or via the St Anne’s Centre on 01299 405385.
