BLUES group The Kevin Brown Trio will headline the Music in the Hall series on Friday, June 3.
Kevin Brown, who has been hailed by Dire Straits icon Mark Knopfler as one of the UK’s finest acoustic blues guitarists, will lead the show at St George’s Hall in Bewdley.
Based around classic blues structures and lyrics that evoke a sense of Britishness, Brown has earned acclaim throughout his 11-album career and has performed on the main stage of Glastonbury.
Andy Fairweather Low, the founding member of 1960s British pop band Amen Corner, appears on his most recent album, Grit, which was released in July 2015.
Song from the live studio album – which is produced by Neville Farmer – will be played in the set.
Support will also come from Stourbridge duo Ben Smith and Zoe Spencer, whose blend of folk and traditional music has earned them acclaim across the UK and Europe.
Tickets to the 7.30pm show cost £8 for adults, £4 for students, and an Early Bird price of £5.
