MORE than 60 actors will be treading the boards for this year's Areley Kings Players pantomime.
The company will be performing Ali Baba and the 40ish Thieves, written by father and daughter team Don and Julie Fossey, at Areley Kings Village Hall.
Performances will take place on on Friday, February 21, Saturday, February 22, Friday, February 28 and Saturday, March 1 and all money raised by the pantomime will go to Stourport-based charity Mentor Link, which supports children and young people who may be experiencing difficult times by providing them with a volunteer mentor or counsellor
Chairman of the group Jo Todd said: “This year’s pantomime is looking great. We have our largest cast ever taking to the stage and our volunteer wardrobe department has excelled themselves creating an exceptional number of brightly coloured costumes.
"We are also thrilled to have so many young people involved. For many of them, it will be their first opportunity to perform on a proper stage.”
Areley Kings Players has produced pantomimes and other shows in aid of local charities for 30 years.
Tickets are £7.50 for adults and £5 for concessions. Call 01299 827389.
