THE Rose Theatre's Nonentities are continuing a celebration of the life and plays of Oscar Wilde with their next production of Lady Windermere's Fan.
The play, which is one of Wilde's first dramatic successes, features many of his most famous lines.
The Nonentities will be performing the play at the Rose Theatre in Kidderminster from Monday to Saturday, March 1.
Director Ross Workman said: "This has been a Wilde year for me. I was lucky enough to be cast as the man himself in November’s production To Meet Oscar Wilde which explored his life and imprisonment.
"In that play, I was directed by Marika Farr who, quite by chance, has been cast as Lady Windermere in this production. We will both have got to know Oscar pretty well by the end of the year."
The play follows the young, rich, beautiful and newly-married, Lady Windermere, who seems to have it all.
That is until she is visited by one of London society's most notorious gossips, who suggests that not only is her husband having an affair with the mysterious Mrs Erlynne, but that this woman is about to turn up to Lady Windermere's 21st birthday ball.
