A POWERFULLY moving story of slavery and freedom will be told during a stage performance of the life of John Newton in Stourport on Thursday, June 23.
Saltmine Theatre Company is bringing its fourth tour of Amazing Grace to The Civic Hall, telling the tale of Newton’s transformation from slave ship captain to church leader.
Audience members will be treated to word performances, folk songs and physical theatre.
