FANCY a day out like no other?
Our Day Out, by Willy Russell, comes to Kidderminster's Rose Theatre next weekend.
Performed by members of the senior group of Kidderminster Rose Young Person's Theatre (KRYPT), it tells the story of Mrs Kay, teacher of the 'progress class' who decides to take her pupils to Conwy Castle and is determined to let the kids have a good time.
But mean-spirited Mr Biggs is sent to keep an eye on them and is determined to spoil the fun.
Set in the 1980's, this humourous and poignant play will have you fondly reminiscing and heartily laughing from beginning to end.
Our Day Out is at the Rose Theatre on Saturday, June 24, and Sunday, June 25.
Tickets are £10, and are available by visiting rosetheatre.co.uk or calling 01562 743745.
For young people wanting to join KRYPT or to find out more information, contact youth theatre leader, Helen Timmins, on helenmarytimmins@yahoo.co.uk.
