AN afternoon of fashion, hair and beauty featuring music from the Pearl of Africa Children’s Choir will be held in Kidderminster.
The event, which is helping to raise money for Ugandan orphans, will take place at Tribe nightclub in Kidderminster at 4pm on Sunday. (nov 25)
The choir features singers, dancers and drummers and has been touring the UK to raise funds for the Molly and Paul Child Care Foundation, a charity that provides Ugandan orphans with education and a safe place to live.
A fashion show and hair and beauty treatments will be on offer at the event which has been organised by Vesna Pavlovic (ok), the owner of The Salon at Chaddesley Corbett.
An auction will also take place for people to bid on a photo shoot, helicopter ride, hair treatments and gym membership. Ugandan crafts made by the children will also be on sale.
The foundation currently provides free or subsidised education to more than 2,500 children in seven schools in the districts of Kampala and Masaka. It also runs nine orphanages and a clinic.
Tickets are £6 and children can attend for free.
