THE owner of a motocross bike stolen in Bewdley has offered a £500 reward for its return.

An orange KTM 150sx was one of the items stolen during a burglary at a house in Spencer Avenue on Wednesday, November 7.

Keith Coldrick said his son raced the bike at motocross events and was “broken hearted” when it was taken.

Police recovered another bike stolen during the same incident, a Honda CR125, but the KTM has not been found.

Mr Coldrick said: “I would like to offer a reward of £500 for information leading to the recovery of the bike.

“We have spent a lot of money on it. It had been extremely well looked after and we want it back.”

Following the burglary, a man contacted police after he saw the bikes being ridden without lights on the Bewdley bypass towards Chessington Wood.

Soon after that, officers spotted the bikes in Walter Nash Road, Birchen Coppice, Kidderminster.

Anyone with information should call Kidderminster CID officers on 101, or independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
