A MAN has been taken to hospital after a collision with a digger in Kidderminster.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said it was called to the incident at about 8.37am on Wednesday at Lawrence Recycling and Waste Management, The Forge, Stourport Road. West Mercia Police also attended.
A workman on the site, who was in his 30s and from the West Midlands, was involved in a collision with a digger and taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital, in Worcester, with an arm injury that is not believed to be serious.
Graeme Silk, Lawrence health and safety manager, said the incident was under full investigation and the Health and Safety Executive would be informed.
“Fortunately the individual was not seriously hurt and we are thankful for that,” he added.
