A KIDDERMINSTER grandmother will take to the pool for the second year in a row to raise money for Kemp Hospice.
Heather Rutter, 57, daughter Kate Hudson and grandson Alex Hudson, 9, will be part of a team of six family and friends taking on a continuous relay, swimming three miles in the pool at the Mercure Kidderminster Hotel’s health club, Habberley Road, Bewdley today.
Mrs Rutter has already raised nearly £300, with people donating asked to guess how long it will take the swimmers to complete the 192 lengths.
Last year, the Tesco worker, who swam on her own, raised £300 for Kidderminster-based Kemp.
