KEMP Hospice is appealing for cyclists to gear up for a 54-mile challenge from London to Brighton.
The challenge will take place on Sunday, September 8, from Clapham Common through Mitcham, Carshalton, Chipstead, Banstead, Haywards Heath to Brighton seafront.
No previous experience is required however preparation for the event is highly recommended.
The spirit of the event is taking part so cyclists can go as fast or as slow as they like.
A cyclist who has already signed up, Michael de Groot, said: “I’m passionate about giving back and doing my bit for the local community. I’ve always wanted to do a personal challenge.
“I love cycling, so when Kemp announced the London to Brighton challenge, I jumped at the chance. I’ve started my training, and have clocked up 330 miles so far.”
