VOLUNTEERS from the Severn Area Rescue Association (SARA) stayed on dry land for a change for a rowing machine challenge.
SARA members rowed the equivalent of the River Severn on the machine at Sainsbury’s in Kidderminster.
The charity raised £1,058 by rowing 221 miles over two days.
Sainsbury’s spokeswoman Helen Bower said: “SARA is Sainsbury’s new charity partner of the year and this was a fantastic way to kick start the partnership, we want to thank all our customers who raised this fantastic amount.”
