TWO Kidderminster streets have been given an environmental blitz clean.
Wyre Forest District Council’s Parks and Open Spaces team worked on Wood Street and Park Street.
Residents had letters explaining what the team were doing and asking them to find alternative parking during the work.
The team consistedof a crew of three sweepers and an extra four operatives, who swept and removed weeds.
Conservative councillor Marcus Hart, the district council’s cabinet member for environmental services, said: “What a fantastic job the team has done.It is every single resident’s responsibility to keep our area looking tidy and we want everyone to take care and pride in keeping our district looking good.”
