A CARD swap will be held at Stourport Library for all youngsters taking part in this year’s Creepy House Summer reading challenge.

The Creepy House Munglers card swap shop will be taking place on Thursday, August 22, from 10.30am to 11.30am.

It is a free event for children aged between four and 11.

Children can take their duplicate cards to the library to swap with other collectors and will have a chance to vote for their favourite Mungler in the Mungler election.

Colouring and activity sheets will also be available.

Maureen Hobbs, Stourport Library manager, said "A spooky spine-tingling adventure awaits children at Stourport library as the Creepy House Summer reading challenge continues."

Munglers are characters created by children's author Guy Bass which can be compared on strength, size, speed, smell and scariness.

The reading challenge is for the children, aged four to 11, to read six or more library books over the summer.
