FOUR people were injured in an assault in Kidderminster on Sunday morning.

The incident happened in Dixon Street at about 2am when two men and two women were injured.

The men and one of the women were treated at the Royal Worcestershire Hospital and the other woman sustained minor grazes.

West Mercia Police believe there was an altercation between about eight men and women which may be related to an earlier incident in Home nightclub.

A number of people were in the area at the time and detectives are appealing for witnesses to come forward. As part of the inquiries, CCTV is being examined.

Two men and two women were arrested and have been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
