A WOMAN has been sexually assaulted at a Kidderminster pub.

The incident happened at the Royal Exchange, New Road, at about 1.40am on Sunday, August 11.

The victim, a woman in her early 20s, had initially been approached by a man who she did not know in Carter’s bar, Oxford Street, at about 1.10am.

About half an hour later, after she had moved on to the Royal Exchange, she was on the decking area outside when the same man approached her again, stroked her hair, grabbed her hands and sexually assaulted her before walking off back inside the pub.

He is described as white, about 5ft 4ins to 5ft 5ins in height and was of slim build but with broad shoulders. He was in his 40s and had a shaved head, a round face and an Irish or Scottish accent.

He was wearing a pink polo shirt, black trousers or jeans and black shoes. He also had a black waist length jacket with him.

The victim was unhurt but distressed by the incident.
